   Nilaya Hermitage

"Built
into the hillside of Arpora, ten minutes from the sea, this newly constructed,
privately owned hotel, offers a quality of service including relaxation therapies,
oil massages and steam baths - matched by few hotels around the world."

"Nilaya...speaks of romance without saying a word.. the atmosphere is more
like that of a rich friend's summer retreat than that of a resort."

Goa India A tropical paradise in the sun, Goa, a former Portuguese colony,
lies on the west coast of exotic India, with secluded white sandy beaches that
seem to stretch for ever and ever.

Location:
Getting to Nilaya is a breeze, all your travel arrangements will be made for
you. You will be given excellent overnight accomodation (if need be) upon your
arrival into India (Mumbai), in transit, on your way to Goa.

The flight to Goa from Mumbai is approximately one hour and we will pick you
up from the airport and drive you along the picturesque coastline to bring you
to our Hermitage, for a holiday of a lifetime.

Accomodation:
"The reception rooms - if you can call them that, are in an atmosphere
that deliberately avoids starched, five-star formality - including the breakfast
room centered on teak columns which originally stood in a temple in Kerala."

  Classic Rooms

  Exclusive Bedrooms

"The usual bustle of a seaside resort is distanced from Nilaya. We've just
twelve guest rooms, each one a uniquely detailed fantasy. The rooms are not
numbered but named after cosmic elements. For example: sun, moon, earth, fire.
  Nilaya itself means heaven".

Restaurants:
"Our menu does not offer a choice of Goan, Chinese, Italian and Tandoori
Specialities. Nilaya's cuisine is a subtle, personal blend of Eastern and Western
flavours - prepared by a French chef using fresh, local produce and plenty of
  seafood."

"We're certainly not formal. You may dine al fresco by the pool, wrapped
in a sarong in the dining room, or privately in your room. Our service is not
brisk and impersonal. The staff are young, eager and friendly."

Health Club:
Our health club is not biased towards sport or violent exercise (though we do
have jogging trails and an excellent clay tennis court). Instead, we offer Ayurvedic
  relaxation therapies.

Ayurveda literally means 'knowledge of life' and as in all Indian philosophical
teachings, the universe as macrocosm and man as microcosm directly reflect one
another. This reflection is restored through balanced nutrition, herbal medication,
internal purification, steam baths, massages, yoga and meditation.
